Program Educational Objectives (PEO) of the Computer Engineering
Undergraduate Program
The Computer Engineering undergraduate program at Eastern Mediterranean
University prepares its graduates to:
- excel in industrial or graduate work in Computer Engineering and
related fields,
- practice Computer Engineering in both national and international
settings, conforming to ethical values and environmentally friendly
policies,
- have sufficient professional competence allowing them to assume
leadership roles in their organization,
- successfully adapt to new technologies and stay current with their
professions,

suggestions for improving processes used by their institutions and take
initiative to make autonomous decisions.
These objectives have been formulated by the computer engineering
departmental council with input from other
constituencies of the computer engineering undergraduate program, such as employers and alumni.

Undergraduate Program
The Software Engineering undergraduate program at Eastern Mediterranean
University prepares its graduates to:
- understand software engineering state-of-the-art processes and
methodologies and be able to apply those to new application domains and
architectures.,
- have people, team work and communication skills that eventually
propel them for taking positions as principal developers, team leaders and
managers,
- practice their profession in an ethical, environmentally and socially
responsible manner,
- pursue advanced studies in their field,
